a week of december daily

How did it get to be December 9th already? Even though we are trying to slow down the pace and really enjoy the month, it's still flying by. I can't believe we're only about two weeks from Christmas!

So far I've really been enjoying this year's documentation process for my December Daily. Most days I am taking inspiration from the Holidays in Hand prompts from Jessica Sprague but am also adding in a bit of daily documentation, too. Some thoughts that are guiding me...

• to keep it simple: less embellishment, more photos and words
• to be okay with keeping up with the photos and doing the journaling/design a few days later
• to be okay with doing the prompts out of order
• and to remember how great the album will be as a whole vs obsessing over individual pages (thanks to Ali's words here)

I've really appreciated the inspiration from everyone who has been posting photos of their December albums. It's so much fun to see everyone's different styles and what they decide to document.
