In the fall of 2008, Ali Edwards invited her blog readers to join her in the process of a documenting a "week in the life." For those who participated, the end result was a unique album mixed with photos, and words and other bits of life that told the story of a week.
Recently, Ali announced that she's embarking on this journey again and inviting us along. If you'd like to play along and document a typical week, this year's project will run from April 19th - April 25th. My 2008 Week in the Life album is one of my most cherished, so I am very excited to make another one for 2010 and to explore how our lives has changed since then. I thought it would be fun to share a few images from our 2008 album...
The complete album can be found here
Ali is such an inspiration, especially when it comes to telling the every day stories. I wouldn't have necessarily thought to make this album on my own and, because she has so many readers, it was really cool to participate in something that so many other scrapbookers were doing at that same time.
Although I'm already doing Project Life this year, I will definitely be playing along for Week in the Life. It's a chance to provide a more detailed glimpse into our lives than a "photo a day" approach and it's great for documenting the papers in your life (like receipts, emails, tags, etc) that you may not want to include all year long in Project Life.
If you'll be joining Ali for Week in the Life, you can head here to grab her banner. Did you make a Week in the Life album in 2008? Will you be playing along this year?
