I have lots of page protectors on hand, but don't normally think of them as excess supplies since they're guaranteed to be used up as I create pages. But then I remembered...
I have a half-used package of baseball card holders from a 2008 project. Perfect! Since my album format is 6x12, I started by altering the protector by cutting of the right-hand column of pockets. Then I got to work filling each pocket with some favorite photos and supplies.
I created this page to complement the "i love us" page I made for the ribbon prompt. In the album, it will sit on top of that page to show off extra photos of us. I played around by only partially filling the top right pocket, then closing it shut with a jeweled pin.
And to continue the transparent theme, I cut up a Hambly transparency and punched holes so it fits into the album rings and acts as a layer over this layout.
I forgot how much fun it is to fill little pockets. Maybe I will find an excuse to add more pages like this to the album! And speaking of my celebrate life album, if you want to see the pages together in one spot, I've added them to my project list on the right-hand side of my blog or you can just click here.
I'm putting the finishing touches on my Project Life March pages; hope to share those with you next!
