design your life - week nine

This past Thursday was the last class day for Cathy Zielske's Design Your Life. All in all, I'm glad I decided to jump in and take this workshop. Initially, I had planned to share a review of the class... but have learned that Cathy will not be offering this class in this format again.

I'll say this though: it is so much fun taking classes with Cathy Zielske! I love her tone, the way you feel like she's teaching from the same room as you, her funny video messages. I will definitely be watching for future classes from Cathy.

I'm still wrapping up the last few weeks of DYL assignments and am allowing myself to do so at an enjoyable (rather than frantic!) pace.  I still have to complete the layouts for the week on Color and the week on Typography; both should be fun! In the meantime, here are my layouts from her sketches from week nine.

 

 

 

Tomorrow I'm planning to work on the latest prompts from Something from Almost Nothing, so I hope to be back soon with more layouts :)  I hope that you're having a wonderful weekend!
